The Senior Software Engineer will support custom software solutions for large-scale automated aerospace assembly systems, working through the full project lifecycle from design to production support. Expect extensive PLC programming, GUI development, and network configuration, with frequent customer interaction and 60% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of software/automation experience.
• 5+ years programming in C/C++/C# for Windows environments.
• Extensive experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC systems and networks.

Responsibilities

• Support full software lifecycle from specification to debugging.
• Work in a structured coding environment with software and hardware integration.
• Program PLCs in Siemens and Allen-Bradley environments; develop Windows applications.
• Configure networks and industrial Ethernet protocols (TCP/IP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers; troubleshoot critical issues.
