Job summary

DigitalOcean seeks a senior software professional to own and ship complex agent‑tooling features, from planning through design and operations. You will build production‑grade tooling, MCP servers, and tool schemas, enabling safe execution and observability for builders and operators.

You will collaborate with product, design, and UX to make agent‑tool workflows trustworthy and efficient, while defining quality bars through telemetry, evaluations, and incident reviews.

Qualifications

• Senior‑level experience designing, building, shipping, and operating production software systems.
• Production experience with Go, TypeScript, and Python.
• Hands‑on experience building with or deeply using agent and AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and ship product features within Action Infrastructure from planning to maintenance.
• Build production‑grade third‑party agent tools and supporting infrastructure.
• Create full‑stack experiences for builders and operators to configure, test, debug, and monitor agent tools.
