OVERVIEW:

Design and build best-in-class solutions, perform business/software analysis, and coordinate initiatives within a product team. Support initiatives that ensure enterprise systems remain best-in-class. Learn to lead teams and bodies of work.

  • Internal Developer Platform: Experience working with Backstage or other IDPs.
  • User Experience: A strong understanding of UX and delivering a best-in-class experience with tooling used by development teams at DSG.
  • Software Development: Drive development of existing software and contribute to new software development by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Develop software that is fast, secure, and reliable to meet defined requirements.
  • Languages: May include but not limited to JavaScript, Python, Java, .Net.
  • Software Maintenance: Monitor, identify, and correct complex software defects to maintain fully functioning software, leveraging the support and skill of junior teammates.
  • Design and Conceptualization: Produce multiple concepts and prototypes to design digital products/services.
  • Technical Recommendations: Research and suggest ways to optimize solutions to better meet user and business needs, performance, and quality.
  • Software Roadmap: Drive maintenance roadmap to facilitate software development aligned with business requirements.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Correction: Find root causes and resolve issues promptly.
  • Work Scheduling and Allocation: Assign short-term work schedules based on storyboarding/backlog to meet expectations within established timelines.
  • Learning and Development: Develop own and junior team members' capabilities through assessment, training, coaching, and maintaining industry knowledge via conferences and reading.
  • Program/Portfolio Support: Contribute to work within established program management plans to achieve goals.
  • Database Design/Development: Guide and deliver database resource design, physical modeling, and tuning for optimal performance.
  • Requirements Support: Collect functional requirements through analysis to express in terms of user roles and goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Over 3 to 6 years dealing with various situations and advising others.
  • Managerial Experience: Basic experience in coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months).

Targeted Pay Range: $83,000 - $138,200. This includes a competitive rewards package with potential components such as incentives, equity, and benefits. Pay is determined by experience, location, internal pay equity, and other factors. We regularly review teammate pay to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
