DCCA is seeking a Software Engineer 3 in Maryland. The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI with Poly. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems, performing design and code reviews, and guiding teams through software development life cycles.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• A polygraph within 5 years is required for this task.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified system or operating environment.
• Develop simple data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure project adherence to process.
