Job summary

Interview Kickstart is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen and scale our cloud infra and ML pipelines. You will design and automate cloud infrastructure, manage CI/CD, and implement security automation across Python/Django and ML workloads, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and security at scale.

You will mentor junior engineers and help foster a security-first culture while operating in a globally distributed, fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, MLOps or security roles.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes/Docker in production.
• Hands-on with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of ML model lifecycle: training, deployment, monitoring.
• Experience with security automation, vulnerability scanning, compliance (CIS, SOC2, GDPR).
• Scripting with Python and Bash.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

As an DevSecOps Engineer at Interview Kickstart, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable systems that support our platform and services.

• Implementing DevSecOps practices: integrating security scans, IAM policies, and compliance automation.

• Building monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.

• Optimizing workloads for cost, reliability, and scalability (across API services, web apps, and ML model serving).

• Handling on-call issues across infrastructure, deployments, and ML pipelines.

• Driving best practices in infrastructure security, cost governance, and reliability engineering.

• Mentoring junior DevSecMLOps engineers and collaborating closely with ML, Dev, and Product teams
