Job summary

Harris Computer seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and development of scalable software systems. You will mentor juniors, guide architectural decisions, and drive best practices across teams, leveraging Azure and AWS along with AI integration.

You will participate in cross-functional collaboration, influence technology choices, and help shape our cloud-based product strategy, while ensuring robust, scalable architectures across healthcare, utilities, and public sector solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, and 3+ years as a Software Engineer with a focus on designing and building complex, scalable systems.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, make critical decisions, and drive consensus among team members.
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.

• Solve complex technical problems and make critical decisions related to technology selection, system architecture, and project planning.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the development team.

• Strong Cloud Experience (Azure & AWS)
• Experience with AI agent code development and integration into products
• Data system design and Architecture experience.

As a Senior Software Engineer, this professional will lead the design and development of entire computer systems and application software.
