Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the United States to lead design and development of scalable systems, mentor developers, and drive best practices across the team. You will influence architecture, guide technology choices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Validated experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), microservices, and AI-enabled product integration is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, and 3+ years as a Software Engineer with a focus on designing and building complex, scalable systems.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, make critical decisions, and drive consensus among team members.
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural discussions, make design decisions, and ensure that the overall software architecture aligns with business goals and industry best practices.
• Solve complex technical problems and make critical decisions related to technology selection, system architecture, and project planning.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the development team.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Strong Cloud Experience (Azure & AWS).
• Experience with AI agent code development and integration into products.
• Data system design and Architecture experience.

As a Senior Software Engineer, this professional will lead the design and development of entire computer systems and application software. They will leverage their expertise to create scalable and robust solutions, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices across the development team. Must maintain all certifications as required by local professional associations.

Salary Range: $120 - 150K
