Job summary

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in the Java and Spring framework ecosystem.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining RESTful web APIs for external clients.
• Solid understanding of relational database principles particularly with PostgreSQL.
• Deep knowledge of modern security practices including authentication and authorization frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools like DataDog or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to balance independent work with cross functional collaboration.

A leading innovator in the renewable energy space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their expanding Battery Systems team. This organization is at the forefront of the green energy transition, building sophisticated virtual power plant technology to stabilize the electrical grid and promote sustainability.

In this role, you will focus on backend development and data architecture, creating the services and APIs that facilitate large scale residential battery programs. You will work within a growing team to design high visibility features that allow utilities to manage distributed energy resources effectively. Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from 130,000 to 170,000 dollars depending on experience and location.
