Smartsheet is seeking Frontend and Fullstack Software Engineers to build enterprise-grade applications within the Portfolio Collaborative Work Management space. You will work with frontend (JavaScript, TypeScript, React), backend (Ruby/Java), and cloud-native services (AWS) to deliver scalable solutions for enterprise customers.

You may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered, reporting to the Sr Manager, Engineering.

Formación

• 5+ years of engineering experience in a team environment.
• Knowledge of OOP and REST design principles.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies and systems.
• Experience with modern client JS libraries, like React, and Redux.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.

• Our Engineering team members are passionate about working on multiple projects using several technologies
• We are a self-operating service team and use a diverse set of Frontend (JavaScript, TypeScript, React), Backend (Ruby/Java), and Cloud-native services(AWS)

Requirements

• Clear and objective writing and in‑person communication
• You have a knowledge of OOP and REST design principles
• Curiosity to learn new technologies and systems
• Proficient in at least one high‑level programming language, such as Ruby, Java, Go, Python, and TypeScript5+ years of engineering experience in a team environment
• 3+ years of experience in service‑oriented architecture, deployment systems, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with modern client JS libraries, like React, and Redux
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in application migration patterns and tradeoff scenarios
