Smartsheet is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Dashboards team. You will lead a cross-functional group of engineers to build beautiful data visualization features and AI-enabled analytics on modern data platforms, including Databricks.
You will own the roadmap, drive delivery, and mentor engineers while partnering with Product and Design to align strategies with customer needs. Remote work is available from anywhere in the US, with a strong emphasis on technical excellence and team health.

The Dashboards team builds the data visualization experiences that help Smartsheet customers turn raw information into clear, executive-ready insight. We're a vibrant team with engineers at every level — from early-career to senior — and we're responsible for the beautiful data visualizations that help our customers make confident, timely executive decisions. We're growing our investment in AI-powered features and modern data infrastructure, and we're looking for an Engineering Manager to help lead the team through this next chapter.
You will lead and grow a team of engineers spanning all experience levels, coaching them to deliver high-quality, beautiful data visualization features on time and with lasting technical health. You'll own the roadmap creation and execution for the Dashboards team, partner closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders, and help shape how the team builds AI-enabled features on modern data platforms like Databricks.
You will report to Sr Manager, Engineering. This is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.
Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity.
US Base Salary Pay Range
$175,000 - $245,000 USD
