Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking for a seasoned backend engineer with a passion for building high-performance, scalable systems — someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and loves solving hard technical problems.

Key responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering, ideally within fintech or high-throughput systems
• Deep expertise in Java and JVM tuning (GC, memory management, multithreading)
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, DynamoDB, and Aurora
• Proven ability to scale systems to millions of transactions per second
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, etc.)
• Proficiency in AWS and containerized environments
• Great collaboration and communication skills

What You’ll Do:

• Design and optimize scalable, distributed systems for high-speed payment processing
• Build and run performance testing frameworks to assess system health under pressure
• Tune JVM performance and reduce system bottlenecks
• Architect real-time data pipelines using Kafka and low-latency caching with Redis
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and proactively improve system stability
• Partner closely with engineering, DevOps, and data teams to ensure seamless scalability
