Unity Technologies SF in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, test, review and maintain Unity's Monetization platform, products, and services to enable developers to build a business through advertising, in-app purchases and analytics.

Write high-quality and scalable code that supports current and future functionality, manage system scalability and data processing, and translate business requirements into engineering features with cross-team collaboration.

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Designing APIs and backend services and systems.
• Implementing and reviewing code in Golang, Nodejs, Typescript, and Python.
• Working with SQL, NoSQL, and KeyValue data storage systems like Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis.
• BigQuery or other data warehousing solutions.
• Working with streaming platforms and queues such as Kafka and Nats.
• Using Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure.
• Creating Python Notebooks to analyze datasets and provide insights.
• Coordinating with product and delivery of product end to end.

Job description

Senior Software Engineer, Unity Technologies SF, Bellevue, WA. Design, implement, test, review and maintain Unity's Monetization platform, product, and services to enable developers to build a business through advertising, in-app purchases and analytics. Write high-quality and scalable code that supports the existing and future functionality of the product and ensure successful delivery. Handle system scalability, performance, process big volumes in data and system functional requirements to drive towards the use of rule engines and machine learning. Manage and deliver individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Translate business requirements into engineering features.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $170,220/yr. Standard company benefits.

Minimum Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.

Telecommuting permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer.

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate's relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
