Job summary

Lyric, a leader in healthcare decision intelligence, seeks a CloudOps/DevOps Engineer in the United States to architect and optimize cloud-based solutions using Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and related tools.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure robust, automated deployments while maintaining cloud health and security across real-time claims workflows.

Qualifications

• Masterful understanding of advanced Kubernetes technologies and ability to design and diagnose production-grade deployments at scale.
• Proven AWS cloud experience with Azure and GCP as a bonus.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Containerization experience with the docker ecosystem and related tooling.
• Production-grade coding experience with Bash, Python and Golang for scripting and automation.
• Understanding of advanced AWS networking technologies such as VPC and TGW.
• Strong cloud security practices with HIPAA/HITRUST compliance awareness.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

• Primary responsibility will be to architect, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions while leveraging industry best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and drive continuous improvement and innovation across our CloudOps and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy robust, automated systems that support our organization's mission-critical applications and services.
• Monitor and maintain the health of our cloud environment, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime and incidents.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Masterful understanding of advanced Kubernetes technologies and ability to design and diagnose production grade deployments at scale.
• Proven AWS cloud experience with Azure and GCP being a bonus.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Containerization experience with the docker ecosystem and related tooling.
• Production grade coding experience with languages such as Bash, Python and Golang for scripting and automation of services.
• Understanding of advanced AWS networking technologies such as VPC, TGW related technologies.
• A solid grasp of cloud security and best practices and an understanding of compliance standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
