Nopan is seeking a senior backend engineer to join the founding team and shape the core product. You will own features end-to-end from conception to deployment, iterating based on user feedback and business needs.

This role requires deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Kubernetes, with a track record of building scalable, secure services. You’ll work in a fast-paced startup environment and have significant ownership and impact.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience deploying on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Kubernetes production experience.
• Strong RESTful API and database knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with founding team to define, design, and implement the core product.

• Take ownership of entire features from conception to deployment, and iterate based on user feedback.
• Set up and maintain the tech infrastructure, including cloud services, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Set up data storage solutions and ensure data integrity and security.
• Optimize system performance and scalability to support a growing user base.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate closely with the founding team to define, design, and implement the core product.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong command of Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Proven experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications in production environments.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for building efficient and scalable systems from the ground up.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Experience in payment processing or integrating with payment gateways, handling transactions, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
