Job summary

Genesis10 seeks a Senior Java Developer for a hybrid contract-to-hire in Charlotte, NC. Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience with the Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring Data JPA).
• Good understanding of SOAP web services and REST/JSON standards.
• Experience building RESTful web services.
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies (Handlebars, Foundation, ReactJS).
• Experience with XML/JSON binding libraries (JAXB, Jackson, GSON).
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, Nexus and Eclipse.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with MQ (WebSphere MQ or ActiveMQ).
• Experience in JVM performance tuning.
• Experience with Groovy.
• Strong OO principles and distributed Java/J2EE/Web tech experience.

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer - Hybrid for a contract to hire position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC.

This role is responsible for providing senior-level technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities include overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex, high-volume computer programs, aligning technical solutions to business objectives, and ensuring coding practices comply with software development standards. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.

• Working knowledge of front‑end technologies like handlebars, foundation, and ReactJS

• Proficiency with Git, Maven, Nexus, and an IDE such as Eclipse
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace

• Experience in performance tuning with a good understanding of JVM internals
• Experience with Groovy
• Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming and concepts
• Experienced in Distributed System development using Java/J2EE/Web Technologies

• Basic knowledge of AI agents and using AI for code reviews

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
