At Blueprint, you’ll work alongside talented people with different experiences, expertise, and perspectives. You’ll have opportunities to take on meaningful challenges, expand your skills, and see the impact of what you build.

Bring your perspective. Raise the standard. Build what matters.

In This Role

You will join a software engineering team focused on developing, prototyping, and maintaining web-based applications, automation solutions, and internal tools that address evolving business and operational needs. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, full-stack development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and ongoing application support. The role offers an opportunity to work on high-priority, high-impact projects supporting critical infrastructure and capacity initiatives, with the flexibility to develop prototypes, solve complex technical problems, and transition successful solutions to long-term owners. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and use modern development practices to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain business applications, web-based tools, automation solutions, and software systems.
  • Develop both front-end and back-end components as part of full-stack software solutions.
  • Gather and analyze system requirements and translate business and technical needs into software solutions.
  • Design and develop software using sound principles of data structures, algorithms, software design, and large-scale systems development.
  • Build prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to address emerging technical and business needs.
  • Develop new applications and enhance existing software and legacy production systems.
  • Analyze enhancement requests, technical specifications, and system requirements to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare detailed software specifications, technical documentation, and test plans.
  • Develop unit and integration tests and conduct thorough testing of new and modified software.
  • Troubleshoot complex software issues, diagnose root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
  • Support applications through system testing, user testing, implementation, and post-implementation validation.
  • Create and manage migration packages for system, user, and production environments.
  • Identify and resolve defects and bugs across development and production environments.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and code reviews to ensure software quality and maintainability.
  • Connect front-end applications with back-end services and data sources.
  • Track development work and deliverables through Azure DevOps or similar engineering workflow tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical partners to communicate progress, technical decisions, challenges, and solutions.
  • Develop solutions that can ultimately be transitioned to long-term engineering or operational teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with the target level being approximately 8–10 years.
  • 8+ years of experience with C#.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related technical field.
  • Strong foundation in:
  • Data structures
  • Algorithms
  • Large-scale software systems
  • Experience developing and supporting full-stack applications, including connecting front-end applications to back-end services and data sources.
  • Experience with data modeling and/or data sources.
  • Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and problem diagnosis on both new and legacy production systems.
  • Experience with unit testing, software testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong UI/UX experience, ideally 8+ years.
  • Experience developing web-based applications and internal tools.
  • Experience building automation solutions and prototypes.
  • Experience working across both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Experience supporting critical production environments and transitioning prototypes or applications to long-term engineering teams.
  • Experience with mechanical or electrical systems or foundational knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering concepts.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) or comparable software development lifecycle/project tracking tools.
  • Experience working in environments requiring frequent troubleshooting, rapid prototyping, and iterative software development.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with legacy systems while also developing new technology solutions.
