Technical Leadership & Strategy
  • Architect, design, and lead the development of scalable, high-performance systems using event-driven architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka, Airflow, Flink) and distributed systems.
  • Champion best practices in system design, code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and observability (e.g., DataDog, Kibana). System Design & Execution
System Design & Execution
  • Own end-to-end delivery of mission‑critical products, from concept to deployment, including:
    • Real‑time data pipelines: design and implement event‑streaming and ETL flows that process millions of records per second with low latency.
    • Batch & streaming hybrid architectures: leverage tools like Kafka Streams, Flink, and Spark Streaming.

  • Optimize system performance (e.g., API latency reduction, error‑rate minimization) through distributed caching, code refactoring, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Design fault‑tolerant, cloud‑native solutions (AWS, Kubernetes) with a focus on resilience, cost efficiency, and scalability.
  • Lead migration/modernization efforts (e.g., legacy system rewrites, data lake/warehouse implementations) while ensuring seamless customer transitions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, advocating for sustainable and innovative approaches.

  • Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills; ability to navigate ambiguity and drive consensus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare technology or other regulated industries (Medicare/Medicaid, payor systems, EHR integrations).
