Job summary

Digitailor in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a product-focused software engineer to own complex projects end-to-end and help modernize systems for contractors.

Qualifications

About The Role

Join a product-focused engineering team building software for construction and field services businesses. You will own complex projects end to end, helping modernize the systems contractors use to manage their people, finances, and operations.

What You'Ll Do

Lead the design and implementation of high-quality software across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. Own projects from technical planning through delivery, gathering feedback and iterating with customers. Build reusable components and services that support a reliable, modular platform. Work closely with product and engineering teammates to shape technical and product decisions. Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical partners.

What We'Re Looking For

Four to nine years of software engineering experience, including experience in a Senior-level role. A strong technical foundation and experience delivering complex products in a high-growth startup environment. Full-stack experience across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and modular services. Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB, or closely related technologies. A product-oriented approach, sound communication skills, and the ability to take decisive ownership in a lean team. Construction technology or workforce software experience is relevant, but not required. Compensation & Benefits Base

Salary

$200,000 to $240,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California. New York City may also be considered.
