Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java/AWS) – The Bernard Group

Location: 100% remote, but must be within 2 hours of the Twin Cities (yes, this is remote, but the job is listed as on-site as we need candidates local to Minnesota)

Duration: 6 month contract to hire (no visa sponsorship or c2c)

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and enhance software solutions using Java and AWS.
• Contribute to our transition from a monolithic architecture to microservices and serverless computing.
• Leverage Node.js for serverless solutions using AWS Lambda.
• Utilize DynamoDB and other AWS services to build scalable applications.

What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years of Java experience
• Mid-to-senior level AWS expertise (5+ years preferred) and a passion for AWS technologies.
• Full-stack experience with an emphasis on back-end development.
• Familiarity with Node.js for serverless applications is highly desirable.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and other cloud-native technologies.
