You will own end-to-end projects on a small, high-performing team building software that automates complex healthcare workflows and improves access to specialty medications.

The role emphasizes hands-on ownership, collaboration with the CTO and founders, and delivering AI-powered features in production within a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Full-stack development with React/TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
• Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
• Ability to own projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong product thinking and problem-solving.
• Experience building AI-powered features in production.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field from a strong U.S. university.
• Onsite 5 days per week in the Flatiron District, NYC; relocation support may be considered.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-growth, AI-native healthcare technology company in New York City. You'll work on a small, high-performing engineering team building software that automates complex healthcare workflows and improves access to specialty medications.

This is a hands-on, product-focused role for an engineer who enjoys owning projects end-to-end, working with modern AI technologies, and making an impact in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship full-stack product features using Python, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop AI-powered solutions for healthcare workflows, including prior authorization and benefits verification.
• Build and integrate AI tooling and automation into production applications.
• Work with PHI-compliant data pipelines and healthcare integrations.

• Collaborate closely with the CTO, founders, and engineering team to shape product and technical direction.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in the Flatiron District, NYC. Relocation support may be considered for qualified candidates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare technology, health tech, pharma tech, or fintech.
• Experience with healthcare integrations or PHI-compliant systems.
• Experience with internal AI tooling, local model hosting, or AI development frameworks.
• Strong frontend experience with React/TypeScript.
• Experience working in small engineering teams with high autonomy.

Compensation & Benefits

• $180,000–$260,000 annual base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Location

This position requires working from the NYC office 5 days per week. Remote work is not available for this role.
