Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Hybrid – 3 Days/Week Onsite in NYC

$140,000–$170,000 Base + Equity

They’re looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help build the backbone of their real-time financial modeling and AI-driven automation tools. If you're a Python-savvy engineer with a deep understanding of cloud-native systems and infrastructure, this is your chance to shape core systems at a critical stage of growth.

What You’ll Work On

• Design and scale microservices across AWS and other cloud platforms
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to support AI/ML workloads
• Own infrastructure-as-code workflows with Terraform
• Develop secure, high-performance APIs for real-time data and model outputs
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab Actions)
• Collaborate across engineering and product to improve performance and scalability
• Help architect a resilient, multi-cloud backend environment

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend or software engineering experience
• Strong Python development skills, especially in cloud-native and data-intensive environments
• Deep experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with API development, CI/CD practices, and data transformation
• A builder’s mindset: you write clean, secure, and scalable code in fast-paced environments

Bonus If You Have

• Experience with ML deployment or data preparation pipelines
• Exposure to GCP or multi-cloud architecture
• Startup or early-stage product experience
• AWS certifications
