Senior Software Engineer - Cybersecurity

ARIA Cybersecurity provides platforms that protect devices running critical applications and manage enterprise-wide automated threat detection and remediation. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge security technologies.

Location:

•This is a full-time remote role for our headquarters in Lowell, MA, with Eastern time zone business hours

Minimum Qualifications:

•BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field

•5+ years of related experience in product development

•Proficiency in programming languages, including C and Python

• Development experience working with Windows and Linux, as a development platform and application target

•Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to debug, troubleshoot, and diagnose software problems

• Enthusiasm for getting to the root of the problem

•Ability to work assignments that require considerable judgment and initiative

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience with kernel drivers for Windows and Linux

•Experience with the development of cybersecurity applications.

•Working knowledge of virtual machines (KVM, vSphere, Hyper-V)

• Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs

Responsibilities:

•Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and drivers using C and other languages

•Primarily back-end development and integration with the front-end software stack.

•Research functionality, usability, and performance-related issues

•Review product details with QA, Integration, and Customer Support teams

•Contribute to technical documentation for software designs, processes, and procedures
