Qantas Airways is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. You’ll manage programming schedules, coordinate with multiple teams, and handle bug fixes and maintenance for existing systems deployed on Cloud providers. Your role involves identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues in a multi-threaded game engine, such as load times, memory usage, and CPU/GPU performance, while delivering high-quality, secure, and maintainable code.
A typical day may include discussing functional requirements with stakeholders, implementing APIs, building dashboards to monitor server health, and writing automated tests for calculations like weight and balance.
