Job summary

Harris Computer, a leading provider of mission critical software solutions, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and development of scalable systems, mentor juniors, and drive best practices across the team.

You will engage in architectural discussions, guide technology choices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on challenging projects. A strong background in cloud, microservices, and data architecture is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years as a Software Engineer focusing on designing and building complex, scalable systems.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, make critical decisions, and drive consensus among team members.
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.

As a Senior Software Engineer, this professional will lead the design and development of entire computer systems and application software. They will leverage their expertise to create scalable and robust solutions, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices across the development team. Must maintain all certifications as required by local professional associations.
