Senior Software Engineer - Remote Job, 5+ Year Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with the lead developer to communicate clear deadlines
2. Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
3. Integrate software components and third-party programs
4. Authenticate and launch programs and systems to ensure successful execution
5. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
6. Collect and assess user feedback to get a better understanding of their needs
7. Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 3+ years of demonstrable experience working on software products for clients in a ‘for-sale’ product environment
2. A mindset that demonstrates your contribution to developing new and innovative products
3. Passionate about delivering value, and defining requirements, and have proven skills in driving those requirements to build the correct product
4. Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer or similar role
5. 5+ years of proven experience in delivering working tested code to clients in the technologies highlighted
6. Proficient command of Agile development practices
7. 5+ years of demonstrable experience in working within Scrum / XP-based delivery methods
8. Extensive experience in software design and development, with an emphasis on test-driven development
9. 2+ years in design software that allows you and the team to build the software right and build it once (TDD, security practices, load and performance designs, design patterns)
10. Experience with databases and In-memory data stores (e.g. PostgreSQL & Redis)
11. 5+ years of proven experience in interfacing with Postgres and Redis within a SAAS product
12. Direct value of automation in both development and deployment activities and have experience in contributing to this practice in Agile delivery
13. Adaptability to learn new languages and technologies
14. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
15. Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
16. Attention to detail with an ability to define and deliver work with precision and accuracy
17. US-based / US-citizen
18. High speed (100 mbs plus Internet connectivity) stable and highly available
19. Video streaming knowledge is a huge plus
20. AI Translation experience is a plus
21. Comfortable in hybrid or remote environments
