Job summary

Object Oriented Search is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the design and delivery of innovative solutions in the United States. You will influence architecture decisions, mentor developers, and ensure robust, scalable systems across current and future projects.

Collaborating with the Software Development Manager and cross-functional teams, you will shape technical choices, review designs, and champion best practices throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of software architecture and development experience.
• Strong experience in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, with Angular and ASP.NET Core.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in multiple technologies, frameworks, and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-priority software initiatives across projects.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to SDLC processes.

Job description

This position will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions, while playing an important role in design reviews and delivering high-priority initiatives across current and future projects. This position also works closely with the Software Development Manager and team members to design and develop software deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code a in C# and expertise in object oriented design and software development
• Responsible for participating in integration of software standards as well as adhering to SDLC processes

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in software architecture, software development, and establishing or advancing modern engineering practices
• Experience developing software within the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, including modern web applications using Angular and ASP.NET Core.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience, with a strong foundation in core computer science principles.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience in using different technologies, frameworks and software design patterns
