Alloy Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and implement its software stack. You will be an expert C++ developer focused on geometry‑centric software, shaping architecture and delivering end‑to‑end solutions for our Stack Forging process.
You will collaborate across disciplines, work on 3D geometry, motion planning, and production‑grade code, with a startup mindset and a four‑day‑onsite expectation.
Cooling performance limits high‑power computing, semi‑conductor fab, cell networks, photonics, power electronics, and most of our digital world. Alloy Enterprises enables customers to break through these constraints with novel complex metal components that dramatically improve heat dissipation in high‑performance systems. Alloy's patented Stack Forging process enables complex micro‑geometries, resulting in single‑piece, leak‑tight parts that deliver superior cooling performance, lower pressure drops, and exceptional reliability. Founded in 2020, Alloy is a 60‑person hardtech startup that has raised over $50M in capital and is shipping components to customers manufacturing servers, lasers, semiconductor equipment, and defense systems.
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who will work with an interdisciplinary team to design and implement Alloy's software throughout its lifecycle. You are an expert C++ developer with experience in geometry‑centric software, and have an informed point of view on how software is architected while being able to right‑size solutions to an existing codebase. You will work to define, design, develop, implement, and maintain Alloy's software suite. Your end‑users are in the building, and there are many opportunities for rich collaboration. Strong communication, flexibility, and the desire to "wear many hats" will all be essential for your success here. You will be joining a team of startup veterans who are no strangers to hard tech.
This role generally requires 4 days onsite per week.
