Position Details

Senior Software Engineer (Blue Ash, OH or other unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

Responsibilities Include

• Working directly on front-end and back-end web development for Tag Inspector.
• Managing back-end Tag Inspector services, servers, and databases to power the full platform.
• Overseeing the back-end codebase, fixing bugs, and updating APIs for third-party system integration.
• Building new features aligned with the company's product roadmap.
• Coding and implementing new ideas.
• Working directly on the Tag Inspector product, including the full R&D cycle for new capabilities, as the company tests market fit.
• Learning the big data architecture of Tag Inspector to explore improvements.

Logistics

• Telecommuting permitted.
• Domestic travel less than 10%.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 6 months’ experience as a Software Developer, Graduate Research Assistant, or similar role.
• Relevant coursework or experience with IBM Cloud, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Apache Spark, Flask, Numpy, Pandas, PySpark, and RESTful APIs.

Additional Details

• 40 hours/week, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• Salary: $104,906.88/year.
