Job summary

The BayTech Group, partnering with a leading financial services organization, seeks a Senior .NET Software Engineer to modernize legacy applications and build cloud-based platforms for investment analysis.

You will design scalable systems with C# and .NET, build AWS cloud services and APIs, influence architecture, and apply CI/CD practices in a hybrid Baltimore role with 2 onsite days and 3 remote.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with C# and .NET.
• Hands-on experience building cloud-native apps on AWS or similar.
• Strong knowledge of backend, APIs, distributed systems, and architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with modern software engineering practices and collaborative development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

This role focuses on developing scalable applications used by Portfolio Managers, Risk Analysts, and Quantitative Researchers. You’ll work with modern technologies, contribute to architecture decisions, and develop solutions supporting investment analysis and portfolio risk management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET.

• Modernize existing applications and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Required Qualifications
