Security Journey is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing team that builds the Enterprise AI Training & Capability Platform. You will contribute backend features, improve security, and help scale our microservices across the stack.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers, customer support, and clients to translate problems into robust technical solutions, while adhering to engineering best practices and modern development workflows.

Senior Software Engineer

Security Journey is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing development team adding and updating features on its Enterprise AI Training and Capability Platform. We work as a close-knit team, utilizing generative AI to enhance our hard-won software development skills and enabling us to work effectively across all layers of the platform.

Tech we use:

• A wide variety of LLM models, harnesses, and tools
• AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Postgres
• Go, Rails, Kafka, some Python
• React (TypeScript)

We are looking for:

• 5 or more years practical development experience, especially on the backend
• Excellent understanding of software engineering best practicesalong with a strong desire to produce excellent code that is secure, maintainable, and scaleable
• High level of ability to engage with product management, customer support, and clients to understand problems and collaborate on solutions
• Ability to work well both individually and in the team context
• Cybersecurity interest or experience
• Experience with microservices or other service-based distributed systems
