Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Marketing Automation Platform team. You will design and build data integration tools, leveraging Java, REST/SOAP, and cloud-native technologies to deliver scalable solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience with Java development.
• At least 15+ years of professional experience, working in Agile Scrum methodology and expertise in back-end development activities.
• 10+ years of experience building RESTful services and/or SOAP based APIs.
• Experience with cloud Services like Pivotal Cloud or AWS /Azure.
• Developing against SQL like SQL Server/NoSQL systems like MongoDB, Web API and RESTful service.
• Experience in design and developing user interfaces using JavaScript, Node.js is a plus
• Experience with GitHub actions, Splunk and cloud native development.
• You contribute to architectural design and documentation.
• You are self-directed and interact with technology and business partners at all levels.
• You should be comfortable in a fast-paced customer-focused environment that continually embraces the latest technologies and techniques.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Understanding of Agile software development principles along with experience participating in Scrum-based delivery team.
