Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Annapolis Junction to support mission-critical programs in secure environments. You will design, build, implement, and troubleshoot software solutions using Java, JavaScript, RESTful services, encryption technologies, and AWS.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in an Agile environment while delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related discipline (or 8+ years equivalent experience).
• 8+ years software development experience with Java and JavaScript.
• 8+ years experience with modern development practices, testing frameworks, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal communication with ability to build rapport with clients and team members.

• Description: The Senior Software Developer supports mission-critical programs within secure environments and delivers technical solutions across enterprise-level systems. This role requires deep proficiency in Java, JavaScript, RESTful services, encryption technologies, AWS, and modern development methodologies. The developer will operate independently while collaborating across project teams to design, build, implement, and troubleshoot software solutions. The position demands strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced Agile setting while ensuring high-quality results and adherence to best practices.
• Required Skills:
• BS in Computer Science or related discipline (or 8+ years equivalent experience)
