GDIT is seeking a Senior Software Developer - TS/SCI with Poly to design, build, and sustain complex software systems for critical missions. You will architect end-to-end solutions using Go and Rust, contribute to frontend work when needed, and apply AI-assisted coding tools in daily development.

This role emphasizes reliability, security, and scalable architectures in distributed environments. Owners across the stack will collaborate to deploy containerized services with GitOps, leverage CI/CD

Qualifications

• Technical training, certifications, or a relevant degree.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• System-level programming and architecture experience.
• Experience with Go and Rust, Linux, shell/Bash.
• Building secure, highly available distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect full end-to-end software systems and services, defining structure and interfaces.
• Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise software across the full SDLC.
• Create architecture diagrams and technical patterns for scalability and maintainability.
• Write production-grade software in Go and Rust; automate tests for reliability.
• Contribute to frontend in TypeScript/React when needed.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development with human review when required.
• Package, build, and deploy containerized apps in GitOps environments.
• Build internal tools, CLIs, and APIs to streamline workflows.
• Work across the full stack to diagnose issues in distributed systems.
