Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a Sr Software Developer to design, code, test, and support new software and enhancements. You will collaborate with other developers, translate business needs into technical specifications, and mentor junior engineers.

Required are a bachelor's degree in CS or IS and 6+ years of software development experience. The role offers a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN HQ with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

• Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and to work with developers on team-based projects.

The Sr Software Developer will design, code, test, support and debug new software and/or enhancements to existing software. Collaborate closely with other developers and contribute subject matter and technical expertise to develop specifications that will solve for business client needs, problems, and required or desired enhancements. Interact directly with business clients. Serve as a mentor to less experienced developers.

• Competitive Salary - The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. A reasonable salary estimate for this role would be $120k-$145k.
