Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Software Developer III to build secure, scalable applications and contribute to cybersecurity initiatives. You will join a forward-thinking team delivering innovative security-focused solutions used by millions of customers.

You will mentor junior team members, participate in code reviews, and help drive secure coding practices across development and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development (design, development, and production support).
• Strong understanding of secure coding and application security.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (build and deployment automation).
• Experience with multiple programming languages.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies (TDD/BDD is a plus).
• Experience working with open-source frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance secure software components for Comcast systems.
• Build reusable and secure code frameworks.
• Identify security gaps and implement improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best security practices.
• Support end-to-end development, including testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
