Job summary
GCS Recruitment is seeking a Software Developer III to join a security-focused team building secure, scalable applications for Comcast systems. You will work on forward-thinking cybersecurity solutions and help protect millions of users.
You will develop secure components, participate in code reviews, mentor junior staff, and evaluate new technologies while applying Agile practices and DevOps tools. This role offers collaboration with the core cybersecurity team and exposure to modern security
Qualifications
- Experience in software development (design, development, and production support).
- Strong understanding of secure coding and application security.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (build and deployment automation).
- Experience with multiple programming languages.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies (TDD/BDD is a plus).
- Experience working with open-source frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (or equivalent experience).
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance secure software components for Comcast systems.
- Build reusable and secure code frameworks.
- Identify security gaps and implement improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best security practices.
- Support end-to-end development, including testing and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
