Platinum Technologies currently has an opportunity for a Senior Software Developer. This role is HYBRID located in Fort Braggs, N.C. Candidate must hold an active SECRET clearance.

The role entails designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, integrating APIs and services, and leading SDLC activities while collaborating with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and operators to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
• Experience with APIs, services, and components.
• Experience with GitLab or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software applications.
• Develops scalable, secure software solutions meeting requirements.
• Leads and supports SDLC activities from design to sustainment.
• Develops and integrates APIs, services, and components for interoperability.
• Troubleshoots complex issues and identifies root causes.
• Optimizes performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Applies secure coding practices for cybersecurity compliance.
• Performs code reviews and enforces development standards.
• collaborates with developers, engineers, and operators to translate requirements.
• Supports integration, testing, deployment, and enhancements.
• Provides mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Evaluates emerging technologies to improve outcomes.
