Job summary

Buchanan & Edwards is seeking a career- and customer-oriented Senior Developer to design, develop, and maintain complex software systems while mentoring development teams. Location: Hybrid - Quantico, VA.

You will lead technical efforts across the full software lifecycle and collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
• Security+ Certification
• Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Full software development lifecycle knowledge from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, optimize performance, ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, QA, stakeholders) to translate requirements into specs and plans.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and PI planning for effective sprint execution.
• Communicate with project stakeholders and support CI/CD processes by validating builds and releases.
