Job summary

TD SYNNEX North America is seeking a Lead Developer for an on-site role at our Reston, VA office. You will design, develop, and debug web-based software solutions centered on Java, APIs, and relational databases, while guiding a hands-on development team.

The position requires strong debugging, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration to meet tight deadlines. Qualified candidates bring 7+ years of Java experience, familiarity with Spring, REST/SOAP, micro-services, CI/CD, and cloud

Qualifications

• 7+ years' development experience with Java technologies including latest Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, ORM/JDBC.
• Experience in development and deployment of Web Services (REST and SOAP), micro-services, API gateways, docker services.
• Strong SQL skills with Relational, NoSQL and Bigdata databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j).
• Experience with front-end technologies HTML5, CSS, TS/JS and frameworks like Angular/React is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug web-based software solutions focusing on Java, APIs/back-end services and relational databases.
• Analyze, review, and rewrite programs to increase operating efficiency and meet new requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with clients, customers and management.
