Job summary

City of Charlotte’s Innovation & Technology Department seeks an experienced Senior Software Developer. You will design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications, back-end APIs, and mobile components for internal staff and residents.

You will collaborate with a team to deliver scalable solutions and participate in the full software development lifecycle. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of full-stack experience with C# and .NET, plus strong knowledge of SQL Server, REST APIs, and modern

Qualifications

Typically 5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience with C# and .NET technologies.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
Strong frontend skills with HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and data modeling.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications, back-end APIs, and mobile components.
Collaborate with customers to define scope and document in SOWs.
Gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot enterprise applications.
Contribute to QA with test plans, unit tests, and integration tests.
