Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer/Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance PKI/PKE tools and applications. This role requires expertise across C++, C#, Java, VB.NET, Python, and Rust, with strong secure coding practices and PKI knowledge. Onsite at Ft. Meade, MD with DoD clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience in government/DoD IT environment.
• Current DoD Secret clearance is required.

• Proficiency with Windows and UNIX shell scripting.
• Advanced knowledge of NIST 800-53 secure coding practices.
• Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation and release notes.
• Understanding of certificate management, cryptographic libraries, and PKI concepts.
• Experience with test planning, unit testing, and QA procedures.
• Must reside within commutable distance of Ft. Meade, MD to work onsite.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain PKE custom software tools (Mail Crypt, CRL Auto Cache, Kebler, InstallRoot, TACT, PITT, SCL Troubleshooter)
• Perform custom software development for unique PKI requirements not addressed by COTS solutions
• Implement secure coding practices in accordance with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 guidance

• Develop test plans and procedures; perform all testing prior to software acceptance

The projected salary range for this position is $150,000+ annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including years of relevant experience, active security clearance level, certifications, technical skillset, contract requirements, and overall qualifications.
