Qualification You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end practices
• Expertise in one or more server-side languages: Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .NET
• Experience building multi-threaded and asynchronous applications
• Experience with socket programming and event-driven architecture
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MonetDB)
• Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and XSD structures and schemas

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience designing microservices and distributed systems with RESTful APIs
• Agile/Scrum development experience
• Knowledge of WMI and WCF frameworks
• Familiarity with SOA and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience developing in both Linux and Windows environments
• Understanding of MVC patterns and modern application architectures
• Experience refactoring or modernizing legacy applications for cloud platforms
• Proficiency with IDEs such as Eclipse, WebStorm, and Visual Studio
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and real‑time diagnostics in cloud environments

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
