Job summary

King County's Department of Judicial Administration is seeking a Senior Software Developer (IT Engineer – Senior) to join the Technology Services Division. You will develop user interfaces and business processes for complex, distributed systems serving the Superior Court and related offices.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, strong knowledge of information systems, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of information systems and technology principles.
• 5+ years in software development on large and complex systems.
• Proficient in web development with HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
• Familiarity with REST/ASP.NET Web API development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications for highly complex systems.
• Evaluate applications for efficiency, security, and data quality.
• Redesign and replace sub-systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system failures and issues.
• Follow SDLC from conception to maintenance.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and DBAs.
