Job summary

CREA, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Information Technology team in Indianapolis or Boston. This role focuses on Angular, PHP/Laravel, SQL Server, Azure services, and Power Platform, delivering scalable, secure business solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in application development and 3+ years with Angular/Laravel, and will work in a hybrid in-office setting (Tue–Thu in-office; Mon & Fri flexible).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in application development or software engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with Angular and Laravel frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, relational databases, and system integration patterns.
• Understanding of APIs, ETL/ELT concepts, data pipelines, and cross-platform data integration.
• Experience with Windows-based enterprise environments and modern development/deployment practices.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools, automation capabilities, or intelligent application features is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Angular and Laravel.
• Build and maintain VSTO integrations for MS Office applications using .NET Framework.
• Integrate across databases, APIs, and enterprise platforms using SQL Server and Azure services.
• Develop and automate workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
• Support modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and data quality; perform root-cause analysis.
