Halvik Corp in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and operate scalable enterprise applications for USPTO Patent Products. The role focuses on Java/Python microservices, Spring Boot, Spring AI, and AWS cloud-native architectures, with emphasis on AI agents and prompt engineering to accelerate development.

You will collaborate with product owners and DevOps in an Agile environment to deliver 24x7 mission-critical services with high performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise software.
• Proficient in Java, Python, Spring Boot; AWS cloud experience.
• Eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Python.
• Design and develop distributed cloud-native microservices in AWS environment.
• Implement AI-enabled components leveraging LLMs, AI agents, and prompt engineering.
• Build reusable scalable components integrating with enterprise systems and third-party services.
• Develop AI-assisted automation to improve developer productivity and business outcomes.
• AWS Cloud Engineering – design, deploy, and manage applications on AWS using ECS Fargate, Aurora MySQL Serverless, SQS, SNS.
• Ensure compliance with USPTO's federal security standards.
• Support production environments and resolve critical issues when necessary.
