NS2 Mission in Northern, VA, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise software and web-based solutions for national security initiatives. Senior Software Developer

Salary Range: $147,990.00 To $195,455.00 Annually

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications and web-based solutions that drive operational effectiveness for our customers. Working alongside engineers, architects, and mission stakeholders, you will help deliver scalable, high-performing software while contributing throughout the full software development lifecycle. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level software applications.
• Experience developing web-based applications and services.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and development methodologies.
• Experience working with relational databases and database design concepts.
• Experience supporting the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.

Salary and Benefits Information:

The salary range for this position is $147,990.00 to $195,455.00 . The proposed range is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, location, and contractual considerations and may fall outside of the stated range.
