NS2 Mission in Northern, VA is seeking a Full Performance Software Developer to design, develop, test, and sustain enterprise applications in a Lean Agile environment. You will contribute across the software development lifecycle with Java, Angular, web services, databases, and DevOps practices, within a dispersed team and cloud-enabled contexts.

Join NS2 Mission as a Full Performance Software Developer in the Northern VA area, where you'll contribute to the design, development, testing, and sustainment of enterprise applications in a collaborative Agile environment.

You'll work with engineering teams and stakeholders to translate business and system requirements into functional software solutions, with a focus on Java, Angular, web services, databases, and modern DevOps practices. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the software development lifecycle, work within a dispersed team environment, and expand your experience with cloud, automation, and distributed application architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications within modern web-based environments.
  • Translate formal and informal system requirements into functional application interfaces and software solutions.
  • Develop backend services and web applications using Java and Angular.

  • Background working with distributed data architectures.
  • Experience with Puppet module development and/or Terraform.
  • Experience supporting ETL tools and data integration workflows.
  • Experience working with government customer architecture or engineering review boards.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with application development using RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
  • Demonstrated interest in researching emerging technologies and keeping current with industry standards and software development practices.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government, Intelligence Community, or other mission-focused technical programs.

Salary and Benefits Information:

The salary range for this position is $110,243.00 to $165,787.00. The proposed range is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, location, and contractual considerations and may fall outside of the stated range.
