Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Senior Software Developer to support an exciting initiative in partnership with a stable and growing organization based in Chantilly, VA. This fully remote role involves building a secure, web-based computer-based testing platform using modern .NET technologies.

Responsibilities for the Senior Software Developer:

• Design and develop a .NET Core web application for administering adaptive assessments
• Implement REST APIs secured with JWT/Bearer tokens
• Translate Python-based algorithms into .NET logic for dynamic test generation and scoring
• Integrate SQL Server for storing test content, configurations, and candidate data
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable code

Qualifications of the Senior Software Developer:

• 5+ years of experience in software development with .NET Core
• Proficiency in C#, RESTful API development, and JWT-based authentication
• Experience with Angular or React, and Bootstrap for front-end development
• Strong understanding of SQL Server and database integration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Must be able to obtain a federal security clearance

Compensation for the Senior Software Developer:

• Salary: $130,000–$150,000/year flexible based on experience
