You will also perform development engineering activities to build customer-specific application logic, extending our core Corcentric Platform based on customer requirements.

We are currently hiring out of our Cherry Hill, NJ headquarters office, as well as remotely across the Eastern US Time Zone.

This key position reports to the Sr. Director, Technical Operations within our Customer Engineering team. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse, global team that prioritizes quality work and professional development. The successful candidate will be a confident, well-rounded developer who is versatile, rigorous, dynamic, and motivated. If this describes you, apply today! We look forward to adding you into the mix!

As a Senior Software Developer, you will:
  1. Deliver functionalities tailored to customer needs using internal frameworks, including planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining technologies.
  2. Communicate with customers and customer-facing teams regarding expectations and incidents.
  3. Manipulate databases for data migrations and transformations.
  4. Connect customer applications with third-party systems.
  5. Perform unit and integration tests to verify compliance of developments.
  6. Offer tailored support to the Managed Services team that operates our solution for key customers.
  7. Troubleshoot customer issues, communicating and partnering with Tech Support and Customer Success teams.
  8. Work with product management, business teams, and other engineering teams collaboratively to define, develop, and deliver work.
  9. Encourage collaborative practices and adherence to team guidelines, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
You'll need to have:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline, with progressive software development experience. (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  2. 5+ years of previous development experience working with a customer-facing web application.
  3. Strong experience developing, testing, and delivering web applications.
  4. Strong dedication to customer satisfaction, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Strong analytical skills, along with a sense of ownership and drive to problem-solve.
  6. Ability to listen, analyze, and adapt to various issues.
  7. A collaborative, team-driven approach to project delivery and issue resolution.
  8. Working knowledge of PHP, .NET, Java, or similar.
  9. Working experience with MySQL and related technologies.
  10. Experience with standard data formats (including XML, JSON).
  11. Experience with business-specific data formats (including cXML, OCI, EDI).

(We want to make sure you're set up to succeed, and we view these as the critical skills you'll need to achieve great things at Corcentric!)

It's great if you also have:
  1. Relevant domain knowledge, working with numbers/data relevant to accounting, finance, billing, payments, and procurement processes.
  2. Experience with API documentation and testing tools (Swagger, Postman, cURL).
  3. Experience with standard network protocols (https, ftps, sftp, wss, smtp, ...).

(Psst...Don't worry if you don't check all these boxes... we view this as helpful experience that can shorten ramp-up time!)
