We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer III to design, build, and operate highly scalable distributed systems at Amazon scale. This role requires strong hands‑on production experience with both Java and Rust.
This is a hands‑on technical leadership role. You will own complex, high‑impact technical problems end‑to‑end, drive architecture and design decisions, and deliver reliable, scalable solutions. You will work across distributed systems, performance, scalability, and service architecture while influencing technical direction and mentoring engineers across the team.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
